C & L Aluminum Foundry was founded in Fort Worth in 1956. The company was incorporated in 1969. Gary Ferguson, President of C & L Aluminum, purchased the company in 1998. Mr. Ferguson has dedicated his career to the foundry industry, with over 30 years to date. Overall, the management team at C & L Aluminum has over 100 years of experience in producing quality aluminum sand castings for a diverse group of customers and industries. C & L Aluminum remains active in the American Foundrymen’s Society and the Texas Cast Metal Association. Operating with experienced, competent employees, the company specializes in producing castings in a weight range from ounces to 300 pounds and  with a maximum dimension of about 60 inches. Recent expansion included the addition of a computerized sand system that automatically delivers molding sand to the various molding units. The sand is mixed with precisely controlled moisture and bentonite additions to guarantee the highest quality casting. Cores are produced with the shell and sodium silicate process. Molten aluminum is treated with state of the art rotary degassing for the cleanest metal possible. Heat treating and non-destructive testing are provided to ASTM specifications. We furnish tooling as well as castings and have a pattern shop on site. Various value added services, such as machining, anodizing, powdercoating, etc., are provided on a competitive bid basis by the abundance of local companies with proven capabilities. Our goal is to provide our customers with the highest quality and most cost effective castings possible.
